Nissan launches Voltia E-NV200 XL van, now double the volume for 100% electric van

Nissan’s 100% electric van, ideal for urban logistics, gains in volume.

Its loading capacity is increased from 4.2 to 8m3 for more loading and streamlined journeys.

Already sold to more than 42,000 copies in Europe – including 10,000 in 2019 – it is the ideal vehicle for flexible last kilometer deliveries.

A pioneer in 100% electric mobility since 2010, Nissan is further strengthening its range with a brand new version of its compact 100% electric van e-NV200. Called e-NV200 XL Voltia, it saw its useful volume almost doubled, going from 4.2 to 8 m3. Both versions are now available in the catalog.


Companies can therefore plan more deliveries during each tour, in order to streamline operations and save time. The e-NV200 van confirms its reputation as an ideal vehicle for city deliveries, thanks to its silent driving and its absence of exhaust emissions, two assets highly appreciated by operators and residents alike.

Priority to versatility

The new addition to the Nissan e-NV200 range prioritizes versatility and practicality. Useful length and height have been increased, allowing not only more loading but also operators who load and unload, to stand up, for more working comfort. Its overall width remains unchanged, allowing the Nissan e-NV200 to be as maneuverable as ever, a quality for which the Nissan compact van is acclaimed. Likewise, it is also very maneuverable thanks to an optimized steering angle which makes it ideal in town.

The Nissan e-NV200 XL Voltia takes the 40 kWh battery and the 109 hp engine. / 240 Nm of the Nissan e-NV200 compact van. This proven kinematic chain is inspired by more than 10 years of brand leadership, a pioneer in 100% electric mobility with the LEAF sold in more than 450,000 copies.

In addition, there is a standard CHAdeMO fast charging port. Standard or XL Voltia, all Nissan e-NV200 accept fast charging. Users will therefore be able, in particular, to recharge at the approximately 350 charging stations installed in France by Nissan and its partners, benefiting from 30 minutes free of charge for each charging session.

In addition to its motorization itself, intelligent energy management technology enhances the efficiency of the Nissan e-NV200 XL Voltia van. Mode B optimizes regenerative braking to recharge the battery while traveling, while ECO mode allows you to manage power to preserve battery life. Used together, these two technologies help increase the range of the vehicle.


The Nissan e-NV200 is a real success with companies, particularly in France, where it has been chosen by Chronopost or DHL, but also by multiple communities via the UGAP (Union of Public Purchasing Groups) and a large number of craftsmen. The Nissan e-NV200 van has sold 42,000 units in Europe since its launch. In 2019 alone, no fewer than 10,000 copies were sold.

The Nissan e-NV200 is built at the Nissan plant in Barcelona. Developed by the Slovak company Voltia, the transformation of the Nissan e-NV200 XL Voltia is ensured by it for the markets of Eastern Europe. For Western Europe, this transformation is carried out in France, at Gruau.

The Nissan e-NV200 XL Voltia is already marketed in France. It is offered from €42,080 before tax, excluding government and local aid. The Nissan e-NV200 van 4.2 m3 is offered in France from €31,490 excl. Tax, also excluding government and local aid.
