My father drives a Mercedes C-Class and ordered the smartphone integration to go with it. So you can connect a smartphone via USB cable and have Apple car play and Android Auto. Our Mercedes has a large 10.25 inch display and whenever we connect the mobile phone, there is an Android Auto symbol with a black background on the left. So my question is whether you can somehow remove the black box on the left in the picture and use the entire display with Android auto?
