The leasing of my Skoda expires in a few months and I then have to hand over my Octavia 1.4 TSI 7 DSG and look around for a new Skoda or other car. It was my second now that I was not as happy with as my first. But now to the question. I was actually very satisfied with the car's smooth running. A problem is certainly that even with the 1.4 TSI 150 PS the front wheels start to slip in 1 and 2 gear. Unfortunately, the RS 245 PS is not available with all-wheel drive. Please to those who have a 245 PS RS, how do you cope with that? If the 1.4 TSI scrapes with 250 NM and I think the problem with 245 HP should be even more violent.

I have the choice between a new Skoda Octavia RS 2.0 TSI or a new Superb 2.0 TSI. It has all-wheel drive. It will probably be my first choice. I drive a lot of KM a year.

So with our RS with 230PS I sometimes also wish to have the all-wheel drive, it gets really bad when the slope is damp / wet, because the car stamps very quickly even though you don't want to accelerate like crazy.

But on the whole you get used to accelerating a little bit more only in good road conditions, even if you know the advantages of an all-wheel drive.

If both are DSGs, I would recommend the superb, there is nothing like the clutch with the clutch: P

And in general, too, if financially I could choose between octavia and superb, I would always be for superb. It's a different class when it comes to comfort, especially as a frequent driver

(I both drove a few times)

Even with significantly more than 245 HP, it is easily possible to start and accelerate normally when it is dry or wet and even in snow.

That depends very much on myself in my car.

An all-wheel drive driver probably does not have to give as much 8 when operating his car in such a situation.

I think it will be with the Superb because of the all-wheel drive. He probably ironed out road bumps even better and the wind noises are probably also less, the rumbling chassis bothered me a bit with my Skoda. Nevertheless, my Skoda drives very well and comfortably for its vehicle class. I think Superb with 272 HP and all-wheel drive is a good choice. The Octavia is just a bit more stylish on the inside. I'm still waiting until the fall when I can order the Superb 2021 series, which will also have a head-up display. Thanks for your honest opinion.

As far as I know, the RS has a different DSG than the 1.4 TSI. I drove both engines with DSG, the RS as my own car for three years, the 1.4 as a rental car. I feel that the starting behavior of the RS has been significantly better - of course you can also have it slipped when it is damp or in a hurry.
