Hi guys, I recently bought this car (1.4 2011 Corsa SXI), around a month ago and I recently noticed that there is a ticking noise problem.
The noise does not show up when I start the car up, but only after around 1 minute of driving, and the noise only occurs when I am accelerating at constant speed especially when the rpm is at 1k-2k, otherwise the noise does not occur when idling. This happens in neutral as well as driving with and without clutch down but only at rpms between 1k and 2k
I checked the oil level and it is fine, and was wondering if anyone in this subreddit knows what could potentially be the problem. noise can be heard louder inside of the car more than when the bonnet is open
