Cigarette lighter port doesn't work on 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer

Hi, my cigarette lighter port doesn't work. I tried replacing the 15amp fuse and when I try using the port, I hear this sizzle noise and the fuse is blown immediately. I'm guessing there's a short circuit or something? How would I fix this? Thanks

99 times out of 100, the fault i find is with the product being plugged in being of bad quality and pulling too much power from the socket. I would first suggest trying with nothing plugged in, and then with a different charger to see if the issue still happens.
