BMW X5 2007 - Is it bad to take out the battery for 2-3 days?

I am attempting to recondition my AGM Battery. It needs to be out of the car for several days. However, I am concerned about letting it sit for too long without any power. Is it bad to leave the car unpowered for several days? Any tips on reconditioning the battery?

At worst you may need to re-register the battery to the vehicle; not a big deal if yuo have the means to do that. Otherwise, I'm not sure what you mean by "recondition". What we would do is leave it in the vehicle but put it on a slow charge overnight, or for 24 hours if necessary.

Thanks! By recondition, its basically slow charging it overnight (or a few days) and desulfurization. I don’t have the means to leave it in the vehicle where I live. Wish I didn’t have to take it out.
