Why would the 2009 x5 take long cranking before it starts?

Question

It broke down after overheating, I had the fuel pump, water pump, alternator, starter, battery, gasket, crankshaft sensor, all replaced but still takes about 10 seconds while cranking before it starts.

Have you checked the spark plugs?

how can I miss such an obvious answer? Ofcourse I did.

Sometimes the simplest things can cause issues. Anyway, what about fuel injectors? Are they clean? functioning properly?

ps. Over a decade old BMWs are not known to be very reliable.
