BMW X5 radio control / garage door motor not teachable

Question

I have a problem with my new garage. There is a Somfy garage door motor installed there and I cannot learn the integrated radio control of the X5. Everything went smoothly with the old engine, but the new engine simply doesn't want to.

Procedure: Press both outer buttons until it flashes quickly, then the button to be programmed flashes green, then hold the gate opener next to it and press the button.

Can someone help here?

I also had problems, but it also works pretty securely for you - it's just a little complicated - read the operating instructions to the end (rolling code).

You have to go through the whole procedure several times until it is the right code.
