I personally find the larger wheels on an X5 more suitable ... it's not an off-road vehicle. I drive my Pajero to 16 "as a 265 / 70R16 balloon tire, but it can also go through difficult terrain. What an X5 has to do in the field is beyond me ... it hurts when I take a short time off the road have to drive ... And I'm just driving the normal 20 "summer / winter and yes, at the back with 315mm width. A car that can do more than 250 on the freeway does not really have to be able to do something off-road.
My first X5, which I was allowed to test drive, was 18 or 19 ", was without an M package. It was quite undefined to drive on the highway at just over 200. Was not a pleasant feeling. With the 20" and the dynamic suspension the X5 really like on rails.
And another thing: my 3-year-old daughter complains about "stomach ache" in comfort mode, by which she actually means slight nausea ... even on a normal trip through the city. In sports mode, she never complains. So how should that go in the direction of more comfort?
For the G05, I will therefore pay very close attention to whether the air suspension is really the right one, not that my passengers will get sick because it is too comfortable. I myself never suffer from something like that, but you also have to be considerate if you take something with you.
