With Toyota, drivers are always on the go with no worries: In the current ADAC breakdown statistics, two models from the Japanese brand shine with the utmost reliability. The city runabout Aygo and the small car Yaris are among the top models in their class.

The annual ADAC breakdown statistics show how reliable a vehicle is – up to eight years after first registration. The current ranking includes a total of 113 different models and 25 brands. For this purpose, the auto club evaluated, among other things, more than 3.75 million breakdowns to which it was called in 2019. The result: Only every third model is particularly reliable over the years.

These top models include two Toyota: The Aygo is once again the clear winner among the smallest cars, with the “very good” or “good” rating across all years of construction. In contrast to most other vehicles, the agile city runabout scores even with increasing age with little susceptibility to breakdowns. As one of only two models in this class, it therefore receives the seal of quality.

The Yaris is in no way inferior to its little brother and is consistently in the green in the ADAC breakdown statistics: As one of the most reliable small cars of all ages, it also qualifies as a top model.
