How to enable Snow/Ice mode on Chevy Tahoe

Your Chevrolet Tahoe may be equipped with a feature that improves vehicle acceleration on snow and ice covered roads.

When active, Snow/Ice Mode on Tahoe will adjust acceleration to optimize traction on slippery surfaces. This can compromise the acceleration on dry asphalt.

The Snow/Ice Mode can be activated by rotating the Driver Mode Control (DMC) rotary knob on the instrument panel to the left of the steering wheel.

The Snow/Ice Mode will activate within a few seconds and its symbol will illuminate at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Note: This feature is not intended for use when the vehicle is stuck in sand, mud, ice, snow, or gravel.
