It sounds like there might be an electrical issue causing the battery to drain while you're driving. Here are a few potential causes and steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

Check for Parasitic Drain:
A parasitic drain occurs when something in the electrical system is drawing power even when the vehicle is turned off. You can use a multimeter to measure the current draw when the vehicle is off. If you detect a significant draw, you'll need to identify and address the source of the drain.

Inspect the Electrical System:
Look for any damaged or worn wires, connectors, or components in the electrical system. Pay close attention to the alternator wiring and connections, as well as any aftermarket electrical accessories that may have been added.

Scan for Fault Codes:
Use a diagnostic scanner to check for any stored fault codes in the vehicle's computer system. Even if the check engine light isn't illuminated, there may be codes related to electrical issues that can help pinpoint the problem.

Check Ground Connections:
Ensure that all ground connections, including those from the battery to the chassis and engine, are clean, tight, and free of corrosion. Poor ground connections can cause electrical problems, including intermittent power loss.
