Starting with 2021 model year, the 14th generation of Ford F-150 may be equipped with available Trailer Theft Alert.
It can alert you to potential trailer theft through your smartphone. Trailer Theft Alert is part of the vehicle security system. It requires FordPass Connect and the FordPass smartphone app.
When the vehicle alarm is activated, Trailer Theft Alert alerts you if your wiring harness is disconnected. Example: “ALARM TRIGGERED: My Ford’s security system has detected trailer disconnect and triggered the alarm at time : month : date : year”.
