How to change date in Jeep Grand Cherokee

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a popular and versatile SUV that offers a range of features and settings to enhance the driving experience. One such feature is the ability to change the date displayed on the center screen. Whether you need to update the date due to a time change or simply want to ensure that your vehicle’s clock is accurate, the process is straightforward. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to change the date in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Step 1: Access the Vehicle Settings

To begin, locate the center screen in your Jeep Grand Cherokee. On the bottom category bar, you will find the “Vehicle” option. Tap on it to access the vehicle settings.

Step 2: Open the Clock & Date Menu

Once you are in the vehicle settings, look for the “Settings” button located in the top right corner of the screen. Tap on it to open the settings menu. From the options available, select “Clock & Date” from the left-hand side menu. This will bring up the clock and date settings for your Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Step 3: Set the Date

In the clock and date settings menu, you will find the option to set the date. On the right-hand side list, you will see the “Set Date” option. Tap on it to proceed with changing the date.

Disable GPS Time Sync

To set the date manually, you need to ensure that the “Sync Time With GPS” option is turned off.

Step 4: Adjust the Day, Month, and Year

Once you have selected the “Set Date” option, you can now adjust the day, month, and year. Using the “+” or “-” buttons, scroll through the available days, months, and years. By tapping the “+” button, you can incrementally increase the value, while tapping the “-” button will decrease it. Keep scrolling until you reach the desired day, month, and year.

Step 5: Confirm the Changes

After adjusting the day, month, and year, take a moment to double-check the new date. Ensure that it accurately reflects the current date. Once you are satisfied with the changes, tap on the “Save” or “Apply” button to confirm the new date. The system will update the date display accordingly.

Step 6: Exit the Settings Menu

With the new date saved, you can now exit the clock and date settings menu. Use the back button or navigate to the main menu to continue using the other features of your Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Congratulations! You have successfully changed the date in your Jeep Grand Cherokee. By following these simple steps, you can ensure that the displayed date on your vehicle’s center screen is accurate and up to date. Whether it’s for personal preference or to align with daylight saving time changes, having the correct date can contribute to a more organized and efficient driving experience.
