Most of us have to change the clocks in our cars twice a year during daylight savings time. Lets show you how simple it is to do in a variety of Hyundai vehicles.
Hyundai Tucson
To adjust time on Hyundai Tucson equipped with navigation, simply press the SETUP button, press the Clock icon, and you will be presented with Clock Settings menu. If you turn on GPS Time, it which will automatically change the clock based on the time zone. However, that does not take into account daylight savings time.
Press the slider button in front of Daylight Savings Time to turn it on. It would automatically move forward the clock by one hour. You also have the option for a 24-hour military clock.
Adjusting time
Some of you may want to set your clock 10 minutes ahead so you’re never late for an appointment. To adjust date or time, first make sure that the GPS Time is turned off under Clock Settings, then simply touch the Date/Time Settings and it will pop-up a window with option to change minutes, hours, day, month and year.
Show analog clock
You have the option to view analog clock in navigation-equipped vehicles. Go to SETUP>Clock>Clock Settings, and touch View tab. When you enter the View tab, you have a choice of a digital or analog clock, touch the Analog icon. Once selected, hold down power button under the multimedia display, an analog clock will appear in full screen as a screensaver.
Hyundai Elantra
To adjust time on 2017 Elantra without navigation, press the SETUP button under the infotainment screen, then press the Clock icon and here, we have options for changing the month, day, year, hour, or minute.
Hyundai Genesis
In the center display, go to Settings, scroll down and touch the Clock button which will present you will all the clock settings. To adjust time, first uncheck the GPS Time checkbox, then you get an option for Time Setting and this is where you can manually override all of the settings of the clock.
You also have the options for Daylight Savings Time, Clock Type (to choose between analog or digital clock), Time Format (option of a 12- or 24-hour clock).
Hyundai Sonata
Sonata has the same information screen as the Tucson with navigation. We simply press the SETUP button on the center display, then press the Clock icon, and we have the identical options as we found in the Tucson with navigation.
