I drive a Ford Focus MK1 1.6l 16V 101 PS hand switch 2003. For some time now I have had the feeling that I have to replace my undercarriage. Every bump I take makes my car sway like a boat and it "clicks" loudly when crossing a "threshold (parking lot)". So driving is no longer fun.

If something needs to be replaced now, I would like to change the dampers and springs right away. But it should not be a special chassis. What can you consider very cheaply and at what price would I be there?

I would be very happy to receive advice and suggestions from you.

Defective shock absorbers can sometimes also be identified by oil leaks. Just be careful ... not that you renew things out of whim that don't need ..... know that yourself from before ... you can quickly burn money with it. And if you then take out "original" branded goods and install Ebay stuff ... that doesn't always make sense ...
Clean the shock absorbers and then take a close look at them!

So I got the vehicle at 116,000 and after about 1.25 years I am now at 148000.

I drove a lot and also very quickly.

Wheel bearings, brakes, tires, wishbones one side, clutch and so everything has already been renewed.

I think the chassis is gone. But doesn't want to pay a fortune, just so that things go better than now. Let an acquaintance look over but chassis recommendation would be trd. not bad.
