Car starts sometimes - 2014 Ford Focus

Question

2014 focus will start sometimes other times it is completely dead, nothing comes on dash, headlights and no sound, like nothing. Brand new battery and no corrosion that I can see.

I would start by checking your battery cables for corrosion on the insides of them. I have read many posts that the cables are the problems as the corrosion is on the inside of the cables where you wont see it. If everything looks good there, I would try the fuse box on the drives side under the hood and look for any corrosion on or around that area.

This is typical sign of poor battery connection either due to corrosion or loose contact.
