I have installed the M Performance system for 4.5 years. My goal was to get a better sound, but it shouldn't be too loud and annoying. It had to be subtle but present. I have installed an MPPK that also influences the sound.
The sound is better now. Shortly after the start, it bubbles a little like a V8. That goes away quickly and it sounds a little louder and stronger in Comfort Mode. Not that everyone turns around. It sounds a little louder when accelerating. In the overrun mode, it bubbles a little and sometimes gives somewhat quieter gunshots.
In sports mode, the flaps are likely to be opened earlier. In the lower speed range it sounds a bit dull and louder. When accelerating harder, it makes the typical noise when changing gear. The sound is much louder and more present. In overrun mode, it bubbles a lot more and sometimes gives very loud gunshots.
That is my impression of the AGA. That's exactly what I wanted. Whereby the MPPK probably also plays a role with the other flap control.
