Recently installed the new fan. The old one had been cut off, but still had the harness. It is possible that it was rewired incorrectly?? Any other suggestions

Yes, it's possible that the issue is related to a faulty wire or a wiring problem during the installation of the new cabin air aspirator fan. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

Check the Wiring Connections
Ensure that all the wiring connections related to the cabin air aspirator fan are properly connected. Double-check that you haven't missed any connections and that the wires are securely attached.

Inspect for Damaged Wires
Look for any signs of damaged wires, such as fraying, cuts, or exposed wires. If you find any damaged wires, they may need to be repaired or replaced.

Verify Correct Wiring
If the old fan's harness was rewired, there might have been a mistake during the process. Check the wiring against the vehicle's service manual or wiring diagram to make sure it is connected correctly. A wiring diagram for your specific Chevy model can be found in the repair manual.

Test the Sensor
The internal temperature reading may be coming from a sensor associated with the cabin air system. Check the sensor's connection and make sure it's functioning correctly. If necessary, you can test the sensor using a multimeter or consult a mechanic for assistance.

Scan for Error Codes
Modern vehicles are equipped with an On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) system that stores error codes when there are issues with various components. Use an OBD scanner to check for any relevant error codes that could point to the problem.

Reset the System
Disconnect the vehicle's battery for a few minutes to reset the system. This can sometimes clear temporary glitches and reset faulty sensors. However, keep in mind that disconnecting the battery might also reset other settings, so be prepared to reconfigure any personalized settings afterward.

Thank you. Could you suggest any website that I might be able to view the schematics?
