If I have a 2011 BMW 1 series and there is no entry in the service booklet, can I read out when the service reset has always taken place? I suspect that the previous owner did the oil change himself ..

Unfortunately I have the variant without a display in the dashboard, but could that still be possible with the laptop?

So if the service was done at a BMW workshop but it was forgotten to be entered in the service booklet, then BMW can look into its history. And if the oil change was made somewhere, you unfortunately have bad cards because you can not find anything. You could read out the service counter with ISTA but that doesn't mean anything if you don't know whether the oil change was made at all, how do you want to know whether it wasn't simply reset or whether a service was carried out in between? Otherwise you could still ask the previous owner if he has any documents.

If the previous owner also etched it back himself, the history is also clean in the vehicle's memory. What does the AI say when the next oil service should be !?

The last problem was an oil change that was also registered.

So now everything is fresh ..

Only the missing one would interest me : DNormally it was done every 2 years and there is a gap of 4 years in the checkbook and I think he did it himself ...

The board computer brings the service notification automatically every 2 years, doesn't it? So you can't actually forget that: D

If 4 years are missing, there is still more than one oil change missing. HU and exhaust gas tests, brake fluid.

Oil service is displayed after CBS advertisement, at the latest every 2 years or I believe every 30th km.
