Ford F-150 may be equipped with a feature that lets you move the brake and accelerator pedals farther away or closer to you with the push of a button.
The control switch for power adjustable pedals is on the left-hand side of the steering column on the instrument panel, next to the parking brake switch.
How to operate
Pressing the top part of the switch moves the pedals farther away from the driver. Pressing the lower part of the switch moves the pedals closer to the driver.
Caution: Do not use the pedal adjustment controls when the vehicle is moving. Failure to follow this instruction could result in personal injury.
Memory function
You can save and recall the pedal positions with the memory feature.
- Adjust the pedals (and other memory features: seat, steering etc.) to your preferred position.
- Press and hold the preferred preset button on the driver’s door until you hear a single tone.
- A confirmation message appears in the information display.
You can recall the preset position at any time by pressing the selected memory button. You can save up to three preset memory positions at any time.
Which F-150 models have power adjustable pedals?
Power-adjustable pedals is a standard feature on Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited. Its an optional feature on XLT. The base XL trim cannot be equipped with this feature.
