Does the Infiniti QX30 have Android Auto?

The Infiniti QX30 is a compact luxury crossover SUV that was produced by the Japanese automaker Infiniti, a division of Nissan, from 2016 to 2019. One of the features that the QX30 does not have is support for Android Auto. Android Auto is a feature that allows drivers to use their smartphone’s apps and features, such as navigation, music, and messaging, on the vehicle’s infotainment system.

The lack of Android Auto support in the Infiniti QX30 means that drivers of this vehicle will not be able to use the Android Auto app on their phone while driving. Instead, they will have to use the built-in infotainment system of the vehicle, which may not have all the features and functionality of Android Auto. This can be a major drawback for some drivers who rely on their phone’s apps for navigation, music, and other features while on the road.

However, there is a solution for QX30 owners who want to use Android Auto in their vehicle. They can install an aftermarket multimedia system that is compatible with Android Auto. These systems can be purchased from various retailers and installed by a professional. They will typically have a display screen and allow the user to connect their phone via USB or Bluetooth to access the Android Auto app.

Aftermarket multimedia systems are a good option for QX30 owners who want to use Android Auto but they do have some drawbacks. They can be more expensive than the built-in infotainment system of the vehicle. They also may not have the same level of integration with the vehicle’s other systems, such as the steering wheel controls or the dash display.

Another option for QX30 owners is to use a phone mount and Bluetooth connection to use Android Auto. This will allow them to use the features of Android Auto, but the phone will need to be mounted on the dashboard, which may not be as convenient as having it integrated into the vehicle’s infotainment system.

It’s worth mentioning that the QX30 being an older model, some of the newer versions of Android Auto have been released after the model was discontinued and the car’s infotainment system is not capable of being updated to the latest version of Android Auto, therefore, the only solution for this model is to use an aftermarket multimedia system or a phone mount and Bluetooth connection to access Android Auto.

In conclusion, the Infiniti QX30 does not support Android Auto, which can be a major drawback for some drivers. However, there are solutions available such as installing an aftermarket multimedia system or using a phone mount and Bluetooth connection to use Android Auto. It’s important to keep in mind that these solutions may have their own drawbacks such as cost and integration with the vehicle’s other systems. Ultimately, it’s up to the individual driver to decide which solution works best for them.
