Check the fuses
Start by inspecting the fuses related to the convertible top and windows in your vehicle's fuse box. If any of these fuses are blown, replace them with the appropriate amperage-rated fuses. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for the fuse locations and ratings.

Battery voltage
Ensure that your car's battery is fully charged and in good condition. Low battery voltage can affect the operation of various electrical systems in your vehicle, including the convertible top and windows.

Reset the convertible top system: Many modern convertible tops have a reset procedure that can help resolve issues. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for instructions on how to reset the convertible top system.

Hydraulic fluid level: Some convertible top systems use hydraulic fluid to operate. Check the hydraulic fluid level to make sure it's within the recommended range. If it's low, consult your owner's manual for the correct type of hydraulic fluid to use and how to refill it.

Inspect the switches and wiring: Examine the convertible top switch. Faulty switch or damaged wiring can prevent proper operation.

Diagnostic scan: If you have access to an OBD-II scanner, connect it to your vehicle's OBD-II port to check for any error codes related to the convertible top. These codes can provide valuable diagnostic information.
