I have a 2021 Santa Fe and twice now the EPB engaged for no reason that I could see.  Once was at the car wash it engaged when it was my turn to pull up and once at a stop light.  I live in FL so there are no hills - everything is pretty much flat.  Can the EPB be permanently disconnected so it never goes on???

EPB does not engage automatically on hills. That is hill assist feature or auto hold feature. EPB should never be engaged like that unless you move the shifter to P, then it may engage automatically.

You can not and should not disable EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) permanently. Its an important safety feature.
