Can the windshield washer still work with a new pump and a broken fuse?

Original GM washer pump for 2016 Camaro is listed at $9.35 at RockAuto. The pump will not work with a broken fuse. If its just the fuse that is blown, then you should replace the fuse, no need to waste money on replacing the pump.
