BMW 1 Series, Idle speed too high

Question

Have a 120i 150Tkm mileage and with a new N46B20 BD A036JXXX engine (10K km)

For about a week the idle speed has not been regulating to 750/800 (yes, the climate is off) and is at 1100 with increasing trend towards 1450 (stop at traffic lights)

What could be the problem?

Has your doormat just slipped and is it easy to confirm your accelerator pedal?

Maybe a defective membrane from the KGE? But is only a guess because you can not read out an error.

The engine gets bad air. Could also be the hose of the same. Then the speed drops and it adjusts. As I said just a guess or where you can start looking up.
