What is causing my 2020 5.0L f-150 fuel pump to "bang" rapidly 4 times and loudly when it primes?

The f-150 did not make the noise when first purchased - the noise started about a week later after purchase - I use 87 octane gas -

The banging sound is the high pressure fuel pump maintaining prime for start up and this sound has been reported by many Ford F-150 owners. Its normal and there isn't any cause for concern. You should only be concerned if the thumping sound is persistent. There are other minor sounds the vehicle will make as it maintains power to certain functions for a few minutes even when powered off.
