Does the Mercury Grand Marquis have Android Auto?

The Mercury Grand Marquis is a full-size sedan that was produced by the Ford Motor Company from 1975 to 2011. While the vehicle was popular among buyers during its production run, it did not come equipped with the capability to support Android Auto.

Android Auto is a mobile app developed by Google that allows users to control certain features of their Android smartphones through their car’s infotainment system. This includes the ability to make phone calls, send and receive text messages, and access music and other media.

However, because the Mercury Grand Marquis does not have this capability, those who own the vehicle will need to use an aftermarket multimedia system in order to gain access to the features provided by Android Auto.

There are a variety of aftermarket multimedia systems available on the market, such as Pioneer, Sony, JVC, and Kenwood. These systems can be purchased and installed by a professional or by someone with experience in car audio installation. The cost of these systems can vary depending on the brand and model, but they generally range from a few hundred dollars to over a thousand dollars.

When choosing an aftermarket multimedia system, it’s important to consider the specific features you’re looking for, as well as the compatibility of the system with your specific make and model of vehicle. For example, some systems may not be compatible with the Grand Marquis, or may not have the same level of integration with Android Auto as others.

Once the aftermarket multimedia system is installed, users will be able to access the full range of features provided by Android Auto, including the ability to make phone calls, send and receive text messages, and access music and other media. Additionally, many aftermarket systems also offer additional features such as navigation and rear-view camera integration.

Overall, while the Mercury Grand Marquis does not come equipped with Android Auto, there are aftermarket options available that allow users to access these features. However, it’s important to consider the compatibility and cost before making a decision.
