I've had a convertible since last week. Unfortunately with a somewhat bumpy start:

On the 2nd day display "Check cooling water". The cooling water was changed only 1 week before and the expansion tank was full when purchased.

The car is also very quickly at operating temperature (water) after 2-3 km, but never goes into the red area. My 523i e39 needs at least twice as long until the needle is vertical.

Checked and in fact it was missing about 1/2 liter after only 100km. So refilled and brought to the seller in the workshop after these 20 km "check cooling water" and there was almost a liter missing. A hose on the rear of the engine, towards the bulkhead, has leaked massively.

Another phenomenon is that when the car is cold, the car has strong vibration, such as an imbalance in the tire. Noticeable even at 40 km/h. However, this is in the cold state, it disappears after 5-10 km.

Does anyone have a tip on what that could indicate?

Its a 1999 328i automatic with 111,000 km.

What kind of shoes you have on it, the tire becomes smoother when it is warm, the convertible is very sensitive to non-circular tires in front, which harmonize very well with the e36 is the Dunlop Sport Max, but not this one with the V-profile!

So it can hardly be due to the km, mine has almost as much as yours, just have to be handled with care, just had a new Golf R in front of me today, it smelled horrible, the driver also did turbo tuning, the car totally burned up.
