Yesterday I with my friends built this system into the car.

Amplifier: Mac Fearless 1000 2200w

Powercap: hpc1000el 1.0 farad

Radio: Pioneer DEH-4500BT

Everything went wonderfully, but when we wanted to really turn it up we noticed on the one hand that everything didn't sound clean because we hadn't made any settings, neither on the amplifier nor on the radio, and on the other hand that the bass was suddenly gone. The radio can be turned up to volume 60 and that happened at just 40. Before I install a new high-quality fuse I want to ask what kind of ideas you have.

Best regards!

The fuse comes to the upper limit. 12 volts times 60 amps are 720 watts. All that remains is to take the appropriate cable cross-section and install a stronger fuse.

According to the manual, the Mac Fearless 1000 2200w should be protected with 3x30A = 90A.  60A at 12V are 720W.

It burns out because the system draws more than 60 A of current under load - very simple physics.
