One month before the start of the order on June 17th for the already registered customers of the ID.3 1st Edition, Volkswagen is going with the new ways of presenting ID vehicles. These stores offer interested parties the opportunity to find out more about ID.3 and all about e-mobility at Volkswagen.

Holger B. Santel, Head of Sales & Marketing Germany for the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand, explains: “With the start of the ID. The focus is on stores, especially visitor-intensive locations, where we present the topic of e-mobility to everyone. In this way we want to open up new customer groups and thereby support the dealers.”

Stores in Dresden open every day, visitors can get to know the new ID.3 in “virtual rooms” and configure it after the planned pre-sale start from June 17th. There are no limits to the digital variety of presentations: the latest vehicle technologies are presented in multimedia and interactive programs guide through the electrical future of Volkswagen. Customers can then order their ID.3 from the desired retailer in their area. Online orders will also be possible in the future.

There is a plan to open a store at the location where the ID.3 will also roll off the assembly line at vehicle plant in Zwickau from 2021, customers and interested parties will also receive comprehensive advice. And after the market launch of the new electric Volkswagen, those interested can then take a test drive.

Henning Schulzki, Head of Sales & Marketing in Dresden, says: “We want to offer customers an overall concept to convince them of electromobility: from production to test drives to configuration, they can experience everything with us and later also their ID.3 in Dresden.”

In Munich, the ID store will open in the modern factory district at the end of July. Interested parties can experience the ID.3 here and find out more about the topics of charging and charging infrastructure.
