When an apocalypse comes and the global oil supply gets depleted, this off-road Tesla Model X is the must-have car. Earlier this week, Fisker showed a rugged version of the Ocean that was prepared for anything. If you are a devotee Fansla or Musketeer and think ‘I want that too’: this is how it will look like.
The off-road version of the Tesla Model X on these images has been given some nice equipment. All the ingredients we saw at the Fisker are also present here: rugged off-road tires, a bullbar, solar panels and a luggage rack with jerry cans full of gasoline.
It is a handsome render, but there is a few things that can be criticized. For example, we have seen solar panels that were better integrated in the design. In addition, the hinged doors probably open a bit difficult in this way. Furthermore, this Tesla Model X has little ground clearance for an off-road car.
If you think that this car is directly copied from the Fisker: that is not the case. This was there before. It is a creation of a certain Brad, who is known on social media as BradBuilds. Earlier he also made a similar off-road version of the Tesla Roadster.
A not unimportant difference with the Fisker: this one will never come. Unless some company sees some bread in this. You never know, because Henrik Fisker apparently does not think this is an unrealistic car. He is just really going to market his extreme version of the Ocean. At least that’s the plan.
