The Acura RDX is a compact SUV from the Japanese automaker which was launched in august 2006. It was presented for the first time at the New York Auto Show in April 2006; and is closely derived from the RD-X concept car, which was presented at Detroit in January 2005. The RDX underwent a restyling at the end of 2009 for the 2010 vintage.
Based on the Honda CR-V and Element, the RDX opens the range of SUVs at Acura, placing itself under the MDX and ZDX.
