The Grand Tour and ex-Top Gear host Richard Hammond uploaded a Youtube video in November 2019 in which he asked his fans to spec his new car, a Morgan Plus 6. People overwhelmingly voted for the red interior which he then selected.
Hammond has mentioned that this new Morgan Plus 6 will be become his daily driver. As for the specifications, it has all-black exterior including its exhaust pipes, matte black wheels, and red interior which looks quite exquisite.
Morgan Plus Six is a rear-wheel drive car powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine made by BMW. It produces 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque channeled through an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. It accelerates from naught to sixty miles per hour in 4.2 seconds and has top speed of 166 miles per hour.
Yeah, that’s a beautiful piece of fine British artwork. If I was a millionaire, I would have one specced for the states. No one else in America would have one and everyone would be rubbernecking super hard at that stunning masterpiece. Just gorgeous. I don’t know if I even want to call it a car.
