Officine Classiche from FCA Heritage resumes work

FCA Heritage, the division of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) for classic vehicles of the Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia brands, has resumed work that was temporarily interrupted due to the Corona crisis.

Officine Classiche, the workshops in the Mirafiori industrial complex in Turin, are again available for certification and restoration activities. In all areas of FCA Heritage, the health and safety guidelines apply, which were developed by the FCA Group with the help of virologist Roberto Burioni for all company locations. The measures, which also apply to dealers, fully comply with the agreement signed on April 9, 2020 between the FCA and the Italian unions.

The Officine Classiche was opened in 2015 in Abarth’s former headquarters in Via Plava in Turin in the former factory building number 83 of the Mirafiori factory. FCA Heritage offers repair, restoration and certification activities for historic vehicles from the Group’s Italian brands. The specialists of the Officine Classiche not only look after the extensive collection of FCA Heritage, but are also available to private collectors or owners of classic cars. The use of original production data and technical drawings, stored in the historical company archive, together with the inexhaustible wealth of experience of the technicians guarantee high precision when working on all historical vehicle models from Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia.

When working with the Officine Classiche, classic car owners can rely on the competence and quality with which they pursue their passion. The same specialists who take care of the FCA Heritage collection also offer private customers a wide range of services, from simple maintenance – including the preparation of racing cars before their next use – to complete restoration. The offer also includes diagnostics, refurbishment of vehicle interiors, repair of individual mechanical components and bodies as well as the final fine-tuning. Every work follows clearly defined and strictly monitored processes. Of course, flexible solutions are also possible if this requires special customer requirements.

In addition to restoration and repair work, the Officine Classiche are now also issuing certificates of authenticity. The FCA Heritage team of experts subjects a classic car to a rigorous control and evaluation process in which all components, the technical specifications and the functioning of the mechanical components are analyzed in detail and compared with the production data in the company archive. A certificate issued by FCA Heritage certifies the authenticity of a vehicle and underlines its value. The FCA Heritage certificate of authenticity is available for classic Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia and Abarth brands. If the customer wishes, the certification of his classic car can also be carried out at his home.
