No more surprises: BMW M5 2021 leaks before debut

A user in social media published the photo.

The image that you can see on the cover of this note shows us the new face of the BMW M5 2021. The photograph was leaked on social networks, prior to the official launch in a few days.

As you can see, the facelift follows the lines of a 5 Series 2021 including the redesign of the graphics of the main lights. The air intakes incorporate new accents in black, giving it a more muscular appearance.

In the image leaked by an Instagram user named Wilcoblok, the car is only shown in a three-quarter front position. New tires are appreciated (of which there will be a variety to choose from) and regarding the rear, there will be a more aggressive bumper, four exhaust outlets and revisions to the headlights.

Inside it will change slightly, it would include a new steering wheel, update in driver assistance systems such as infotainment. Subsequently, it should offer Android Auto, a cloud-based navigation system as wireless updates.

Under the hood, we could expect the 4.4 L twin turbo V8 engine with 592 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. The box should be an eight-speed automatic, with an active differential and all-wheel drive system M.

With the above, the new BMW M5 2021 should match its predecessor by doing the 0-100 in 3.4 seconds and achieving a top speed of 305 km / h (being equipped with the optional M Driver package).
