New Audi RS3 Sportback spotted on the Nurburgring

The new Audi RS3 Sportback also came into action during a test session of the Industry Pool at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. And the test drivers were stomping with the hot hatch.

The video shows Audi RS3 driving around the Nurburgring, pushing its limits with the sound of tires screeching. The car was well packed, with camouflage over the main body parts, but the large air intakes, wide wheel arches and the two oval exhausts clearly show that we are dealing with the RS3 here.

The current generation Audi RS3 has a 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbo engine that produces 400 hp and 480 Nm of torque. What is under the hood of the new version is not yet known, but count on Audi to make it difficult for the Mercedes-AMG A45. We bet on at least 420 hp.

The quattro all-wheel drive system is of course standard with an automatic dual clutch transmission. If the rumors are correct then there is also a Drift mode, just like in the fast hatchbacks of Ford and Mercedes-AMG. The RS3 Sportback will be unveiled later this year.
