MINI releases the John Cooper Works GP cosmetic package

Do you have a MINI JCW? Didn’t you manage to buy a special GP edition? MINI has something for you.

The MINI scale has several steps. First you have the Cooper, then the Cooper S, the John Cooper Works and finally the JCW GP, which is a radical limited edition of 3,000 units, each with 300 HP of power. But of course, these editions are distributed all over the world and not everyone has the money to buy it.

What if we say, you have a MINI John Cooper Works and you liked the look of the GP, but obviously you are not going to buy a GP. MINI has an official aesthetic package, naturally called John Cooper Works GP Pack.

What does the pack bring?

Until now, the metallic Racing Gray color of the bodywork, the metallic Melting Silver of the awning, the John Cooper Works rear spoiler and the mirror covers have been reserved exclusively for the design of the new MINI John Cooper Works GP, just like the air intake on the hood, door handles and black fuel cap. All of that comes in the package, as do the black interior frame and headlights, the black logos, and the GP logo trim, which you can also find on 18 “wheels.

Inside, the GP package adds Dynamic leather-trimmed John Cooper Works seats with the “GP” insignia. The logo also appears on the driver and co-driver floor mats, while the front and rear floor mats are finished with red stitching. The leather John Cooper Works steering wheel, which is also part of the new package, is covered in Walknappa leather with red stitching and a 3D-printed metal center. The same method is used for the transmission paddles, behind the wheel.

The package can even replace some parts with carbon fiber or Alcantara.

This sports kit will be available from July this year.
