Your vehicle includes everything you need to change a flat tire, including a spare tire. In the event you need to replace a flat tire, it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself beforehand with the tools you’ll need, and their storage locations.

Regular Cab Models

In regular cab models, the tools are located behind the seat back.

Double Cab Models

In double cab and crew max models, the tools are stored underneath the rear seats.

Start by turning the joint jack counterclockwise, until it is free. To remove the spare tire, put a jack handle extension and jack handle together. Next, insert the end of jack handle number one into the lowering screw, and turn it counterclockwise or to the left. After the tire is lowered to the ground, remove the holding bracket. Pull out the spare tire, and stand it up against the bumper. You can now change a flat tire by following the procedures outlined in your owner’s manual.
