When the ignition is turned on, the airbag warning light will turn on for a few seconds to check the bulb. However, if the light stays on or turns on while you’re driving, it indicates that there’s a problem with the airbag system and it needs to be inspected by a Jeep dealer as soon as possible. This light also makes a single chime sound when it is turned on.

This could be caused by a problem with a sensor or a malfunction in the airbag control module. It’s recommended that you take your vehicle to an authorized Jeep dealer as soon as possible for a diagnostic check and to have the problem repaired. It’s important to address this issue as soon as possible because it may affect the airbag’s deployment in the event of an accident.
