Windshield washer system on Ford F-150 enables the driver to clean the windshield by pumping washer fluid on to the windshield and then wiping it off with the wiper system.
To ensure that the water tank of the windscreen washer system is not unexpectedly empty, the washer fluid level should be checked regularly. You will get a warning in the instrument cluster display on F-150 if the washer fluid is too low.
Note: Do not operate the washers when the washer reservoir is empty. This could cause the washer pump to overheat.
