How to use Hill Assist Control on Toyota Sienna

The available hill assist control is designed to help a driver starting uphill on certain steep or slippery inclines.

To use the system after coming to a complete stop on an uphill grade, depress the brake pedal further than needed to hold the vehicle in place. A buzzer sounds to let you know the system is engaged.

The system will maintain pressure the few seconds you need to move your foot from the brake to the accelerator.

Depress the accelerator and hill-start assist control disengages automatically.
