The giant 12-inch touchscreen on the dashboard of Ford F-150 can get distracting at night for some drivers. That’s why Ford has made it easy for you to turn off the display.
With the 14th generation of F-150, its now easier than ever to turn off the display. There are two methods to turn off the screen. You can turn it off by pressing a button on the dash or via the settings menu.
Turn off display by pressing a button
To turn off the center touchscreen, press the dedicated display on/off button located on the dashboard just below the SYNC 4 infotainment system.
To switch the display on, press anywhere on the touchscreen.
Note: The display defaults to on each time you switch your vehicle on.
Turn off display via settings menu
You can also turn off the display by going to SYNC 4 settings menu, but note that this method is not as convenient as compared to pressing a button.
- Go to Settings on the center touchscreen.
- Select Display Settings.
- Touch Display Off.
