1. From inside your vehicle, pull the hood lock release lever located on the lower left of the dashboard. The hood will spring up lightly.
2. From outside the vehicle, pull up on the auxiliary catch lever located just underneath the front center of the hood.
3. Always check to be sure you haven’t forgotten any tools or other items, before closing the hood.
4. To close the hood, lower it gently and make sure it locks in place. If necessary, press down gently on the front edge to ensure that it is properly locked.
