If you find that your battery is dead, follow these steps to gain access to your car and have it give itself a jump start.
First, access the mechanical key from your key fob and use it to remove the small door lock cover from the driver’s side handle.
Once the door lock cover is removed, use the mechanical key to unlock and open the door.
On the left hand side of the steering wheel use the 12V battery reset button to give the battery a jump start.
