Until the 1990s, sunroofs were a popular vehicle equipment. But with the success of the air conditioning system, its spread decreased. The sliding roof is now making a comeback with the panoramic roof.
The Hyundai Tucson may also be equipped with panoramic sunroof which can be opened in three different ways.
Opening Sunshade
To open the sunshade, pull the sunroof control lever lightly backward to the first position.
Opening Sunroof
To open the sunroof, pull the sunroof control lever past the first position. The roof will open and noise-guard will pop-up.
Tilting Sunroof
With the sunroof closed, press the control level inward to tilt the sunroof and bring some fresh air to the interior of the vehicle.
Closing Sunroof
Push the sunroof control lever all the way forward to close.
