Your BMW offers a fold-out position, in which the wipers can be folded away from the windscreen.
You can operate the windscreen wipers with the lever on the right side of the steering wheel.
To activate the fold-out position, switch the ignition on and back off again. Then press and hold the lever upwards beyond the resistance point, until the wipers stop in an approximately vertical position. The wipers can now be lifted away from the windscreen, for example to replace the wiper blades.
Do not forget to fold the wipers fully down onto the windscreen and reactivate the wiper system before your next journey. When the ignition is on, press the wiper lever downwards. The wipers will move back to the rest position and can be operated again.
