To fasten the seat belt for the middle passenger, first pull the seat belt latches out of the bracket in the roof behind your left shoulder.
Next separate each latch and pull the belt across your body. Then insert the lower seat belt latch into the belt lock located on your left until you hear it click into place. Next grasp the upper seat belt latch and insert it into the belt lock located on your right until you hear it engage.
Make sure the seat belt runs across the passenger correctly and that both locks are engaged. Each latch will only fit specifically into it’s appropriate belt lock – the two latches cannot be interchanged.
How to unfasten
To unfasten the seat belt, hold the belt with one hand and press the red button on the belt buckle. You can now use this seat belt latch to open the second seat belt latch by inserting it in and pushing the red lever inside. When released, carefully guide the belt back to the bracket in the headliner.
