How to enable or disable Easy Entry and Exit on Ford F-150

Ford F-150 is equipped with a feature that automatically adjusts the driver’s seat and steering column so that you can conveniently enter or exit your vehicle.

Ford F-150 Fourteenth Generation

Easy Entry and Exit moves the driver seat rearward up to 2 in (5 cm) and the steering column up when you switch the ignition off on Ford F-150. The driver seat and steering column return to their previous positions when you switch the ignition on. Depending on your vehicle, the column may move up and in.

Switching Easy Entry and Exit on and off

Easy Entry and Exit can be easily enabled or disabled via the SYNC 4 infotainment system on Ford F-150.

  1. Touch Settings on the touchscreen.
  2. Touch Vehicle.
  3. Select Easy Entry/Exit.
  4. Switch Easy Entry/Exit on or off.

Ford has a programming problem with the F150’s that have the 501a package. Mine has the same problem, the dealer kept my truck for days while working with Ford Engineering and never did get it fixed. The seat memory works as designed but there is no option to turn it off. The manual says there is but it’s not there.

This setting is in my system but I have it. Frustrating. I can’t find where to shut it off

What are you trying to say? If the setting is in your vehicle’s system, then why can’t you shut it off? On the settings page touch the small toggle button next to Seat Adjustment to turn it on or off.

I have the same issue. The seat adjustment option is grayed out. There is no way for me to turn it off.
