How to clean your exhaust from the outside
There are a number of things you need to do to clean the outside of your exhaust. If you have a chromed or painted exhaust, you should also be very careful to avoid scratches.

Note: Wait at least an hour after driving before removing the exhaust. So the exhaust system has enough time to cool down.

You can remove stubborn soot with polishing wadding or paste for metal.
